My name is Helene Weig, and I’m a committed Registered Nurse.
Living in Jacksonville, Florida, I’ve spent years taking care of patients of all backgrounds in their time of need. However, my most memorable patient will always be my husband. He was my biggest supporter and greatest love. We were married in NYC in December 2000. We became a blended family, Marc was an amazing dad to not only our kids but neighborhood kids and nieces & nephews. He was always the best looking guy in the room and the first to make everyone laugh. He was diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer in October of 2022. He lost his battle in March of 2025. I am trying to spread awareness in his memory and if one person gets checked and saved, it will mean his death meant something. If my knowledge and his death can prevent one person from dying from a disease that is cureable if caught early it will mean the world to my family
