Marc Weig fought a courageous battle with colon cancer. He had symptoms and did not get checked. By the time he had a colonoscopy it was stage IV, he fought an uphill battle. He was treated at Cancer Specialist of North Florida, Mayo clinic, Ascension St. Vincent’s, Orlando Health and MSKCC in NYC. As I learn to create this site and a non profit in his memory I ask that people spread awareness and ensure their loved ones get routinely screened for colon cancer. If I can prevent one wife or husband from the life I am now forced to live, it will be worth it. He was supposed to grow old with me.
